Report from Central Asia
Several of the Latin American families we have helped to send to Central Asia are working with refugee's in this area. It has been Christians, that have selflessly helped refugee's whose family members many times have been murdered, have suffered the atrocities of terrorism first hand, have lost their homes, and it is amazing to now see their openness to the Gospel, and to Christ. God is glorifying Himself in spite of such dire tragedy and chaos, and praise Him that there are men and woman that have given up their lives to serve Christ Himself by serving this community.
We have just received reports from Latin American workers who are taking food and supplies to the smaller refugee communities where no governmental organizations are working. Some have come to faith in Christ, but all are very open. Many of them openly say; Christians are the best friends that we have.
Our desire is that one day they will realize that Jesus Christ is not only their best friend, but He is also their only Savior. Please continue to pray for these Latin American families that are serving in areas very close to war zones.
One family in particular was returning to the field, and their residency papers were stolen, and are working on getting a temporary permit. Our enemy only attacks when we dare invade his domain. That is exactly what Jesus called us to do, and that is our greatest task at hand.
