Report from North Africa
God is not only working with refugee's in Central Asia, but He is working in North Africa as well. Connect Global has now helped send 8 Latin American families to one particular country in North Africa. These families are not only discipling new believers that they have been able to lead to faith in Christ, but they are helping plant house churches, in many cases these are the only churches in very large cities. One of these families writes and says "We like Daniel find ourselves in a lions pit, but just as he trusted in God, so do we. Please pray for the persecution of local believers in this country, pray for the safety of our Latin American workers, pray for the local church to be strengthend and continue to grow.
We have just received reports from Latin American workers who are taking food and supplies to the smaller refugee communities where no governmental organizations are working. Some have come to faith in Christ, but all are very open. Many of them openly say; Christians are the best friends that we have.
Our desire is that one day they will realize that Jesus Christ is not only their best friend, but He is also their only Savior. Please continue to pray for these Latin American families that are serving in areas very close to war zones.
One family in particular was returning to the field, and their residency papers were stolen, and are working on getting a temporary permit. Our enemy only attacks when we dare invade his domain. That is exactly what Jesus called us to do, and that is our greatest task at hand.
