An Extraordinary Movement of God in Central Asia
God is already moving in this Central Asian people group, in spite of the fact they persecute followers of Christ, and the Bible is prohibited in their country. Even though this country is closed to the Gospel, God has sovereignly opened the hearts it's people. There are many factors of why this is now the perfect time, and why the people are now more than ever open to the Gospel. Because we believe this is a Kairos moment, we have decided to take advantage of this moment by partnering with a team in Central Asia, and taking advantage of a massive influx into a more secular country.

You can change the position of During this time every year, we mobilize and bring a team of Latinos to come along side of local believers, and people from the U.S. and other nations to simple share our faith in Christ with people that the vast majority have never personally met a follower of Christ, or would have access to His word. We were able to bring pastors and leaders from El Salvador, Venezuela, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic. These are all churches that we are mentoring in the Global Focus process in Latin America and are now participating in cross cultural missions trips.
Part of our daily strategy after we would be encouraged in worship and the word, was to go out on the streets with local believers and engage people in conversation and then invite them to a coffee shop where local believers could take time to explain the Gospel. Many of the people were totally surprised that people from Latin America had come half way across the world to share their faith in Christ with them.
One day I was able to go with some local believers and one of our Bolivian brothers to a local mall. We were able to engage many people, but one man stood out. As we engaged him in conversation he talked about a dream that he had about Isa al Masih (Jesus the Messiah). He as very excited as we offered him a the Bible and the Jesus film. He said that he and his family were flying back to their country in just a few hours, and that he was making a few last minute purchase, but that this was the best thing he was able to take back to his country. The next day, another lady recognized me and even called out my name "Rafael". As I turned to greet her she began to say that she had already started reading the book we gave her the day before. Then as my local friend began to engage her in a deeper conversation she began to weep, and told about many problems in her marriage and home. My local friend was very patient to listen to her problems and gently steer the conversation to the only One that can solve our problems. At the end of a 45 minute conversation, right there in the middle of a very highly traffic area, she trusted Christ as her Savior.
These are wonderful stories, but they are not unique, almost everyone in our team, and the other team experienced similar stories. We have seen over 20 people personally trust Christ as their Savior, and thousands of books have been personally distributed and will be taken back in country. God is doing some awesome things in this people group and we have decided to join in on what God is already doing.
