From Mexico to Central Asia

This year we were able to help send K.A. from Tijuana, Mexico to Central Asia. She is the first "worker" from "Camino de Salvacion" Baptist Church, one of the churches we mentor from the Baja California Baptist Convention. She has been in country now for 8 months, and is learning the language at the local university. Every day, her teacher and several of the other students try to "convert" her to Islm. But because of that, it has opened up several doors of conversation with them about the Bible, Jesus, and Christianity. There is one of her classmates that is now secretly reading the Bible, please pray that God would reveal Himself to her.

Because of intense persecution in this country now, t he team that K.A is a part of has not been able to meet for the last 5 months. They are constantly being watched and followed, but decided to meet for Christmas and celebrate the birth of Christ. As a part of the celebration they were able to baptize a new follower of Christ!! Please pray for K.A. as she is learning the language, and as she says: "Every day taking advantage of every opportunity to talk about Jesus".
