Home Meetings; Missions Airlines; and Speed Dating Missionaries.

During the week, we had home meetings where the missionaries where able to go deep with the people. They challenged them to pray for them and come and help them on different projects. Saturday was packed with personalization activities.

At 8:00 am all of the men and woman had breakfast with the missionaries separately, so they could hear from each missionaries individually. Then mid morning they had the all the children of the church catch a flight on Missions Airlines. They had built in their church what looked like and airplane, which had pilots, and stewardesses that took the children to 4 different locations to learn about the culture, and what God is doing with each one of the missionaries. They flew to Morocco first, then to Germany, then to India, then to Turkey.

I wish you could have seen the over 100 children's faces at they gave them airline tickets, and passports, and even had immigration officials to stamp their passports before going into a country. This made an indelible impact on the children because Vida Nueva is committed to a future generation of missionaries.

Then in the afternoon we had each young person do "missionary speed dating" where they would sit in small groups and listen to each missionary talk about what God is doing in their field for 7 minutes and then change to another missionary. The did this for an hour and a half.

We finished the evening with a "Taste of the Nations" where the people had learned how to make food from all over the world. It was one of the best International Banquets I have ever attended, Peruvians are some of the best cooks in the world!
